Buick Envista Will Make Its Way to America
The Buick Envista will make its way to American markets. Although the crossover SUV is currently only available in China, rumors had circulated that it would be made available overseas. This has been confirmed by Buick, who has stated that the 2023 Buick Envista is making its way to American dealerships. While additional details, like whether the crossover SUV will be imported from China or whether it will replace the Buick Encore, were not revealed, the news does tell us that Buick is looking to enhance its lineup. As of late, Buick has been busy working on an all-electric SUV called the Buick Electra. Spy shots were recently taken of the electric SUV which has stirred a lot of excitement about its official debut. Until more information comes about, we’ll stick to the 2023 Buick Envista and see what consumers can expect.
2023 Buick Envista Confirmed For American Markets
The 2023 Buick Envista has been confirmed for American markets. According to Buick, the crossover SUV will make its way to America. In China where the Envista is currently available, the crossover SUV comes equipped with a turbocharged 1.5L inline-four. This 1.5L engine delivers 181 horsepower and pairs with a continuously variable transmission. For its size, the Envista arrives with the following dimensions: 182.6 inches long with a 106.3-inch wheelbase. This puts it between the Encore and Envision although we’re not sure if the Envista will replace either SUV. About the Envista, General Motors President Mark Reuss said,
“The Buick Envista is already in production in China, off the design of the Buick Wildcat. Getting ready for the United States here as well; just a beautiful addition to the Buick line-up,” said Mark Reuss.
Although Reuss did not offer additional details about the Buick Envista, we do have some information about the crossover SUV. For its starting price, it’s likely the 2023 Envista will start at an MSRP of $21,450 (plus destination fee). As for its exterior, the crossover features a sharp front end, a low grille, and slim headlights. The SUV’S interior cabin emphasizes spaciousness with elegant and flowy lines. It also features a free-form control module and a layered dashboard that hold two 10.25-inch screens. These screens serve as the digital gauge cluster and infotainment screen. According to GM Authority, the 2023 Buick Envista could make its way to American markets in time for the 2024 model year.
