GM Unveils Newly Refreshed 2024 GMC Sierra HD
General Motors (GM) recently debuted the newly refreshed 2024 GMC Sierra HD. The heavy-duty pickup truck features new exterior and interior styling for the new model year. The 2024 Sierra HD will also arrive with a premium Denali Ultimate trim and an off-road AT4X trim. GM will also offer the pickup with a new 6.6L diesel engine. As of late, GM has been focused on its EVs, like the GMC Hummer SUV. Despite this, the automaker has still been able to give due attention to its combustion engine lineup. GM Unveils All-New 2024 GMC Sierra HD
General Motors (GM) recently unveiled the all-new 2024 GMC Sierra HD. The heavy-duty pickup truck will arrive with a new refresh. This refresh affects the Sierra HD’s exterior and interior. The pickup truck features a new front bumper, fascia, and grille. The interior also receives new styling, especially with a new premium Denali Ultimate trim. There’s also a new off-road trim, the AT4X. Both trims improve the 2024 Sierra HD by adding luxury and performance. The Denali Ultimate trim emphasizes the luxury element with chrome exterior bits and an Alpine umber interior. The AT4X trim outfits the GMC Sierra with improved off-road capability.
The 2024 GMC Sierra HD can be equipped with several engine choices. One of these is a 6.6L V8 turbodiesel that delivers 470 horsepower and 975lb-ft of torque. The other option is a naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 gas engine that offers 401 horsepower and 464lb-ft of torque. Both engines come paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. One impressive quality of the Sierra HD is its towing capacity. The heavy-duty pickup truck manages 21,900 pounds with the 2500 HD crew configuration. The regular 2500 HD configuration sees 22,500 pounds, and the 3500 HD sees 36,000 pounds.
Inside the 2024 GMC Sierra HD, owners will note a unique interior cabin. Specific trims focus on different elements, however. The Denali Ultimate trim, for example, receives a more premium design. Other trims like the SLE and SLT receive a different kind of styling that is still distinct. New features also accompany the heavy-duty pickup, like trailering assistance. There are also advanced safety and driver assist features. The 2024 GMC Sierra HD will be available in the first quarter of 2023. The AT4X trim will arrive later in 2024. GM will announce official pricing as production nears.
