SVE Will Offer Supercharged 2023 GMC Yukon
Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE) will be creating a new supercharged tuner package for the 2023 GMC Yukon. SVE operates as a New Jersey-based tuning company. Having worked together with General Motors for decades, SVE has created tuner packages for numerous vehicles. The latest GM vehicle to receive an upgrade package will be the 2023 GMC Yukon. The full-size family SUV will receive several upgrades to its performance through supercharged tuning kits. The GMC Yukon XL is also expected to receive similar upgrades. We’ll take a look at the supercharged 2023 GMC Yukon and see what consumers can expect.
2023 GMC Yukon & Yukon XL Will Receive Supercharged Upgrades
The 2023 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL will be receiving specialty tuner upgrade packages. These packages will be provided by Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE), a New Jersey-based auto tuning company. SVE has worked together with General Motors for decades creating powerful vehicles. The company’s latest project is the 2023 GMC Yukon. SVE will be equipping the family-sized SUV with one of two supercharged tuning upgrade kits. One kit will be for the base Yukon and another for the Yukon XL.
The 2023 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL will receive tuning upgrade kits The first kit will pair with the Yukon’s base 5.3L V8 engine. This kit will provide the naturally aspirated 5.3L engine with 700 horsepower. The other tuning upgrade kit will be used with the second engine option, a 6.2L V8. Equipped with this upgrade kit, owners will enjoy a rating of 800 horsepower.
Included in SVE’s tuner packages are several items. These include a forged steel crankshaft, a computer-balanced rotating assembly, a blueprinted aluminum block, and forged aluminum pistons. Also included are upgraded cylinder heads. SVE will only be producing 100 units of both the specialty Yukon and Yukon XL. Those interested in the supercharged family SUV will have the option of a leather seat trim. This will be offered with either black or gray upholstery along with leather inserts and contrast stitching. The SUVs also receive a Sport Edition logo embroidered on the headrests with Sport Edition exterior badging.
