A Look Inside the 2023 GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate with Super Cruise

Luxury Inherits Super Cruise
Move over Cadillac Escalade, the GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate is ready to shine. Initially, the luxurious trim premiered on the Sierra 1500. Additionally, the GMC pickup featured standard four-wheel drive and 22-inch dark chrome wheels. Furthermore, Sierra 1500 enthusiasts experienced lushness like never before with refined materials such as Alpine Umber, a wood accent, and leather seats.
The real jaw-dropper is the SUV’s technology. This is the first time GMC’s Super Cruise finds its way inside the Denali Ultimate. Like other General Motors vehicles equipped, Super Cruise allows hands-free driving only when the SUV dominates a mapped section of a freeway. Additionally, Super Cruise can switch lanes on its own and perform these functions while towing a loaded trailer.
Standardly equipment for the Denali Ultimate is Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist. When the GMC SUV travels below 18 mph, the parking assist system sounds off to inform drivers of an empty parking spot, and displays instructions on the instrument cluster or infotainment screen offering parking assistance.
The other Yukon trims inherit mild updates. For instance, there are four new exterior colors for the 2023 model. In addition, the Yukon SLE, SLT, and Denali trims offer the optional 22-inch wheels. Impeccable performance remains at the forefront, yet the SLE and SLT trim receives a standard 5.3-liter V8 engine yielding 355 horsepower. There’s also the optional turbo-diesel 3.0-liter inline-six forging 277 horsepower. The AT4 gets the 5.3-liter V8 or the optional 6.2-liter V8, producing 420 horsepower. The premium trim Denali and Denali Ultimate receive the turbodiesel engine; however, the 6.2-liter V8 engine is available. Every Yukon model features a 10-speed automatic transmission.
