The 2024 Buick Envista is significantly longer than the Buick Encore GX. The Buick Envista measures in with a wheelbase of 106 inches and an overall length of 182.6 inches, compared to measurements of 102 inches and 171.2 inches for the Buick Encore GX. The Envista’s roofline is also a chunk lower at 61.2 inches, compared to 64.1 inches on the Encore GX.
Interior

Performance
The Buick Encore GX and Buick Envista both share a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine. Both generate 162 lb-ft of torque, but they differ when it comes to horsepower. The Envista has 136 hp, and the Encore GX has 137 hp.
The Encore GX has a slightly faster acceleration, at a 9.2-second split when Edmunds testers drove it. Whereas, according to MotorTrend, the Envista can reach 60 mph in 9.5 seconds. The Encore GX and Envista come standard with front-wheel drive, but the Encore GX has the option to get all-wheel drive.
Fuel Economy
Regarding which SUV can go the distance, the Encore GX wins, but only by a little, as it can travel 396 to 409 miles on a full tank. The Envista can go 396 miles, based on what Buick has said. They also differ slightly in EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings; the Encore GX gets 30 mpg in the city, and the Envista gets 28 mpg in the city. Both get 32 mpg on the highway, making these vehicles perfect for every trip.
