It seems as though the US is one step closer to possessing the Envista for Buick’s luxurious lineup. Although, it remains a mystery when the lavishly equipped crossover will premiere. However, the Envista is a smash hit in China; therefore, we know what to expect. Fortunately, enough recent spy photos captured the new model out and about, prancing around in its Avenir trim.
The Buick Envista Avenir is unlike its other trim siblings. The Avenir trim sports chrome trim which is more captivating once enthusiasts bear witness to the greenhouse and rear quarter-panel garnish.
In the spy photos, the camouflage conceals just a fraction of the front fascia, the rear bumper, and the taillights. As a result, the Avenir trims grille, and front fascia appear unparalleled, and we foresee the rear bumper and taillights to reveal a distinctive flare of their own. Another unprecedented distinction from the rest of the Buick Envistas is the trim trailing along the bottom. The Avenir’s bottom trimming and body-color mesh are contrary to the previous prototype that revealed a gray trimming.
Little is known about the Envista’s powertrain options. However, the new Buick SUV employs a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine in China. The turbocharged engine uses 185 horsepower, empowering the front wheels through a continuously variable transmission. The Envista can propel from 0-60 mph in less than eight seconds. Moreover, the Buick crossover may attain the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder for the States, mainly because everything is always bigger stateside.
China’s Buick Envista features a 10.25-inch touchscreen with a digital instrument cluster. The crossover offers wireless charging, Apple CarPlay, and a 360-degree camera system. These features may find itself inside US models as well.
The Buick Envista stretches 186.2 inches, proving 0.1 inches longer than. In addition, the Envision is taller to reveal a more practical approach to traversing than the Envista’s stylish delivery.
