Future Electric Buick Envision Underway
General Motors is ready to deep-sea dive into the rapidly evolving electric vehicle segment. The automotive General intends to launch 30 new EVs by 2025. Buick plays a pivotal role in this transition for GM to release electric cars. That said, the automaker has an electric Buick Envision in the works.
With the new all-electric vehicle currently under development, Buick recently announced its plans to provide its first electric vehicle to the North American market in 2024. Once the first EV premiers, the Buick lineup will reveal an entire lineup of electric cars by 2030. Therefore, the future all-electric Envision may serve as North America’s first EV.
The new all-electric vehicle may be known as the Envision Electra; in place of Buick’s branding strategy, the future Buick EVs may also carry the Electra marquee alongside the nameplate.
Sources close to Buick stated that the future Envision would harbor a similar shape and size to the current 2022 model. Additionally, the electric Buick SUV will reveal a more aggressively-sloped roofline plus the same kink found on the rear door of existing models. Moreover, the electric Envision will support a dual-tier forward lighting setup, razor headlights at the front fascia, and headlamps at the bottom.
The Buick Envision EV’s front fascia will favor the Envista, which will soon find its way to North America.

Speaking of, the 2022 Buick Envision is having difficulty staying available, with 18,208 deliveries in the US within the first nine months of this year (2022). So we look forward to seeing how well the future Envision will maintain its popularity with electrification around the corner.
